"Becoming a member of the North San Diego Business Chamber was a new venture for us; the first time a region of the County of San Diego's Health and Human Services Agency had officially joined a chamber of commerce. Since joining in January 2012, HHSA North County Regions has been able to become better aligned with the business community, using the NSD Business Chamber as a venue where we can share expertise, leverage resources and make valuable connections to engage businesses as partners in the health and well-being of our communities. And with the NSD Business Chamber becoming an official partner of the County's Live Well San Diego initiative in June 2013, we're able to elevate our partnership to the next level as together we strive for communities that are healthy, safe and thriving."

...Chuck Matthews, Deputy Director, County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency

"Serving as an active member of the US Accredited North San Diego Business Chamber has been an invaluable experience.  The Chamber’s vision is to advise, advocate, and partner for and with the region’s businesses. Their personnel focus on keeping the membership up to date both locally and nationally to help improve industry business practices as well as provide networking, education, and committee opportunities throughout the day and evening to accommodate everyone’s schedules.  We highly recommend North San Diego Business Chamber membership to any organization."

"Replica Printing has been a long time NSD Business Chamber member (10+ years) and over the past couple years my business and I have seen a huge difference.  No longer are we the passive members with our decal in the window occasionally attending mixers.  We are now very active and have seen noticeable difference in new business directly from chamber members.  In addition to the increased exposure my business has received, I have enjoyed the benefits of the Chairman's Circle and the relationships that have come from it.  Put simply, our increased involvement has equaled increased sales. Thank you to the team that make up the NSD Business Chamber!"

"Connections! That’s what it’s all about.  Person to person and business to business. We are proud to be a part of an organization that works to uplift their members with events and speakers and programs. Owning and managing a business is a tough challenge that is made easier by the organizations you belong to. We can’t imagine not having North San Diego Business Chamber in our marketing, advertising and management plan at Poway Transmissions."

"I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the value of being a member of the North San Diego Business Chamber.  The monthly mixers are a great venue for meeting people and I have made many business contacts that have turned into customers.  Where else can you spend 2 hours and have the opportunity to meet so many potential clients?   The breakfast seminars are also very beneficial and offer appropriate education that is timely and applicable to today’s business climate.  I intend to remain a NSD Business Chamber member for years to come."

"Membership in the North San Diego Business Chamber is one of the best things we have done! The networking opportunities the team presents are above and beyond most other organizations. If you are looking for connectivity within San Diego’s northern region – this is THE place to go!   Working with the North San Diego Business Chamber connected us with organizations that benefited from our cybersecurity educational workshops. The Chamber team “gets it” and are helping to spread the word about how important each and every small, medium and large business is to the general cybersecurity of our nation. Women’s Week has been the “brass ring” for us. It is a gathering of some of the most influential in the county – men and women. And, of course the regular sector meetings like clean tech, healthcare and others provide a solid network where sharing ideas and brainstorming can take place. It is all great!"

"The North San Diego Business Chamber has done a great job in putting the North County and North County inland areas on the map. The chamber team has done a remarkable job in creating business to business opportunities through relevant entertaining and educational mixers meetings and a series of topics Aimed at professional development.  Through my membership I've been introduced to like-minded partners who are bent on collaborating and growing one another's business. Meanwhile the Chambers commitment to finding ways to contribute to the community through goodwill giving and charity undoubtedly makes the area better And a legitimate contender for business, jobs, schools and construction."

"Membership in the NSD Business Chamber has given me access to leaders in the business community, particularly in the Rancho Bernardo vicinity, to whom I might not otherwise have been able to reach.  For instance, there are a couple of events that have been held at large companies like Sony and HP at which executives from those organizations have been present.  With the commonality of being a Chamber member, it has allowed me to approach these companies with marketing plans targeted for their employees.  With stores on either side of their campuses, it helped drive some new traffic into our business. I have really enjoyed the Regional Connect networking events, at which I've met a large number of business people from a large variety of businesses.  I have also participated in a couple of the educational Professional Development Forum meetings, when the topic has been an area of common focus for our business and the presenter's topic.  For instance, I went to the "Go Commercial" event, at which commercial real estate representatives outlined strategies for negotiating commercial space leases.  Since I was in the process of renegotiating a lease for one of our stores, it proved to be very helpful to look at this negotiation from the landlord's perspective, rather than just my own, as a small business owner."

"My involvement with NSD Business Chamber has offered many benefits for both myself and my organization.  Specific examples include: the ability to interface and collaborate with business leaders in the North San Diego region; be involved in NSD Business Chamber planning processes related to enhancement of Education and Workforce Development efforts the Chamber offers to it’s members and exposure to the many benefits and events the chamber provides on a regular basis, i.e.  member orientations, mixers, business for breakfast series. The staff does a tremendous job of providing critical data and information on topics and issues brought to the committee and always do so in a highly professional manner."

…Mark Nanzer, Director Adult Programs, San Diego Workforce Partnership

"The Professional Development Forum has provided tremendous Personal Development opportunities for me and my staff.  The sessions are short, on point, and nearby.  The cost is low enough that I can bring several of my coworkers, and all of us look forward to every month’s announcement of upcoming events.  Thank you NSD Business Chamber!"

"On behalf of the Bernardo Winery, we would like to thank the NSD Business Chamber for all of the great things it does for the community of San Diego. We we’re delighted to hold the first nights’ opening of the Women’s Week in March. What a great turnout we had by members and guests . It has opened up the awareness of the winery to so many new guests. We have had several guests return to enjoy a day with us in the Tasting room, the many shops and even book an event . The winery loves that we can offer a site fee discount for any member through the website. As well as we can participate in any discounts from other businesses.  We will continue to support the NSD Business Chamber , and its many events and  Thank you for all you do."

"The San Diego County Apartment Association (SDCAA) has benefited from its membership with North San Diego Business Chamber through additional networking and advocacy opportunities for our industry members. With membership throughout the county, we are continually looking for additional ways to be engaged in the various regions such as North County. In 2012 we had many members participate in candidate forums and meet & greet events hosted by NSD Business Chamber. SDCAA is also pleased to be a part of the Public Policy Committee which provides us with yet another opportunity to influence policy that impacts our members and other businesses in North County."

"In March, 2013, my colleagues and I attended San Diego Women’s Week.  San Diego Women’s Week is a week of events and a one day conference designed to inspire, empower and connect women.  The week long events and the one day conference were filled with speakers who provided valuable career and life lessons.   Little did I know that the event was created by the Chamber and other NSD Business Chamber members several years ago. I’m very glad to have had the opportunity to connect with the Chamber and NSD Business Chamber staff.  It has been an enriching experience!"

…Kathy Edmons, Director, Teradata Database Global Support Center

“Our membership with the North San Diego Business Chamber has provided opportunities to network with and engage the North County business leaders. Most people don’t think about specialized healthcare for children until it is needed. Networking provides an opportunity for Rady Children’s to get its messages out. The RB Alive event was our first public unveiling of our “360 Sports Medicine” services tailored for the adolescent and young adult patient. We received great feedback and several patient referrals”.

"Cox Communications partnered with the North San Diego Business Chamber to provide live streaming video of the 2013 Women’s Week conference to chamber members, non-profits and others interested in viewing the featured speakers.  Not only did this broaden the reach of the conference but it allowed Cox to highlight our communications technology in a way that is impactful to the community.  The staff at the Chamber was terrific to work with and we look forward to future partnerships."

…Christy Patnoe, Community Relations Manager, Cox Communications

"Harrah’s Resort Southern California has been a member of the Chamber for the past couple of years.  We have found the Chamber to be a source of information and a place to dialogue about issues facing the businesses in our community. Two very important efforts for our business are employee wellness and environmental sustainability.  The Chamber has allowed us to participate on committees and share information about our practices in these areas, as well as learn from others about their best practices, all in an effort to enhance the viability of our community.  The networking, and learning, opportunities through the monthly Regional Connect mixers, the quarterly Chairman’s Circle lunches, the various committees, and the conferences (e.g. Women’s Week) have been invaluable."

…Janet Beronio, General Manager, Harrah’s Resort Southern California

"I was working with a building owner in North San Diego to secure a new tenant at his building.  The tenant was having difficulties with the City of SD zoning department which was not only delaying the leasing process but was prohibiting a small business owner from opening a new office location where he wanted to be located.  With one phone call into the chamber and the team was instrumental in helping the tenant navigate through the zoning issues within the City and ultimately successfully open their new business where they wanted to be.  Not only was the new business thrilled with the time saving value-add but the owner, a member of the Chamber, was thrilled as well.  It’s for the ability to effectively leverage these relationships the Chamber has established leading to positive solutions and their various other expertise that I’m proud to continue being a member of the North San Diego Business Chamber."
